Every fall, the House of Hope sponsors Child Safety Day. This event takes place in all of the elementary schools in Cumberland County. With the help of local law enforcement, all kindergartners are photographed and fingerprinted to create ID cards in the event of an emergency where identification is needed. These records are only given to the parent(s) or guardian(s) for their safe keeping. It is available at no charge.
Child Safety Days run from the beginning of the school year (August) through the beginning of November.
