This year, the Blue Ribbon Committee partnered with CF Love Crossville and the annual Easter Egg Hunt. There were 1600 individuals at Centennial Park with 632 children registered to hunt eggs. But that’s not all!
The Blue-Ribbon Committee prepared 655 bags to hand out at the event. Each bag contained information on positive parenting, our program booklet with relevant statistics, details on how to report child abuse, and the hotline number. Additionally, the bags contained a card insert from The Trauma Informed Community Alliance, featuring a QR code that links services in Cumberland County as well as across our region. We successfully distributed 565 bags and pinwheels, ensuring resource information reached many families.
A huge success for the purpose of child abuse prevention!!
Given the substantial turnout at the Easter Egg Hunt, we feel confident that our presence was noted and appreciated. Our efforts to engage and support the community were evident, and the positive feedback we received validates the importance of our message, child abuse prevention.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Love Crossville with CF for inviting us and their hard work, dedication, and passion to make this event happen. Thank you to the Girl Scouts, you all did an awesome job!
And last but not least, THANK YOU to everyone else who attended and participated in the event. We are certainly looking forward to next year!!
