Cumberland Children’s Center- House of Hope has provided a temporary safe haven for Cumberland County TN children of abuse since June 2004 until placement in foster care. Due to a sudden influx of children through the Department of Children’s Services in January 2023, the home is now caring for children 24/7. Because of this change many renovations have taken place and more are needed within the home so we may adequately care for the individual needs of our youth.
Because of Kerry Ingredients generous donation, our volunteers may finish our second bathroom, relocate our laundry room and pantry, and for safety fence in our yard around the home. This will also allow us to renovate two offices, with one being an extra bedroom for toddlers and infants, and a quiet room for older youth for counseling and schoolwork.
Because of Kerry, the House of Hope will be more comfortable and will allow us to utilize our space more efficiently as we continue to offer a safe and loving environment for children suffering from abuse.
